Enrico Vellano is the CEO of Lingotto.
Mr. Vellano was born in Torino in 1967 and graduated in Economics at the University of Torino. In 1992 he started his professional career at Arthur Andersen.
In 1995 he joined SAI Assicurazioni where he specialized in the management of equities and bonds portfolios. In 1997 he started his working experience at IFIL, the investment company controlled by the Agnelli Family. He held increasingly relevant positions until 2006 when he was named Chief Financial Officer of IFIL, which was merged in IFI in 2009 to create EXOR S.p.A.
From December 2016, when EXOR S.p.A. was merged into Exor N.V. based in Amsterdam, until October 2022, Mr Vellano was Chief Financial Officer of Exor N.V.
Starting November 2022, Mr. Vellano was appointed as CEO of Lingotto, the asset management company owned by Exor.
He is also Chairman of Lifenet Healthcare and Almacantar Ltd, and board member of Paris Office JV Ltd.
Matteo Scolari is the Managing Partner and CIO of Lingotto Intersection.
Matteo joined Exor in 2015 and founded Lingotto Intersection the following year. Prior to Exor, Matteo was a Partner at Eton Park International for 11 years, overseeing the majority of the fund’s public equity investments in Europe. Prior to Eton Park, he worked in M&A at Goldman Sachs in New York and London and in Management Consulting at McKinsey across Europe.
Matteo graduated summa cum laude from Politecnico di Torino, Italy with a master degree in Engineering. Matteo also received an MBA from the Wharton School, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
Nikhil Srinivasan is Managing Partner at Lingotto and CIO of the Horizon investments.
His earlier roles have included Group CIO and member of the Group Management Committee at Generali (Milan), and Group CIO at Allianz Investment Management (Munich) where he was also member of Allianz SE’s International Executive Committee. He joined Exor in 2018, initially as CIO of PartnerRe.
James Anderson is Managing Partner at Lingotto and CIO of the Innovation Strategy.
Mr. Anderson became partner at Baillie Gifford in 1987. He led the European Equity Team and co-founded the Long Term Global Growth Strategy in 2003. He Chaired the International Growth Portfolio Construction Group 2003-2019, including as co-manager of the Vanguard International Growth Fund. He was on the Advisory Board of the Kay review into UK equity markets in 2012. He was also manager of Scottish Mortgage Trust during 2000-2015 and joint manager 2015-2022. In 2021, Mr. Anderson was elected Chairman of the Board of Kinnevik.
He is currently trustee at Johns Hopkins University and member of the Investment Committee, Senior advisor to the Board of Antler Group and Chair of Panmure House Prize Panel, and member of the investment committee of University College, Oxford.
Pam Chan is a Managing Partner at Lingotto and CIO of the Mosaic Strategy.
Pam joined from BlackRock, where she was most recently Chief Investment Officer and Head of Direct Private Opportunities. Having spent 11 years at the firm, she co-founded and grew the firm’s cross-asset private markets team from zero to over $12 billion. She also served on BlackRock’s firmwide Global Operating Committee and Alternatives Executive Committee. Prior to BlackRock, Pam worked for the Financial Stability Board, Bridgewater and Goldman Sachs.
Pam graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a joint concentration in Philosophy and Government and earned an MBA with high honors from Harvard Business School. She was also named one of 2022’s Women of Influence in Private Markets and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader (Class of 2020).
